Its captcha is widely considered the best available, and it stops most bots before they ever reach the signature form. What we do differently

No blind one-click signing

We don't let people sign based on a headline alone. Signatories always see the petition and its author before submitting their signature. One of the largest petition platforms offers one-click signing, but we believe signatories should know what they are signing and who the petition author is. Read more

We don't use your petition to grow our mailing list.

We only ask signatories for consent for purposes chosen by the petition author.

Many of the biggest platforms bundle their own marketing consents into the signature form of the petitions they are hosting. You can't opt in to petition updates without also agreeing to their emails. Read more

No automatic user accounts

One Gmail address, one signature

Gmail ignores dots in an address: [email protected] and [email protected] are the same address to Google, and to us. Adding dots is one of the easiest ways to pad a petition with manipulated signatures from a single email account, and a large share of petition platforms still count every variation as a different person.
