We demand decent roads urgently with specific reference to; • Non-functioning traffic signals • Broken streetlights • Potholes • Non-visible road markings • Lack of road signs

We the undersigned residents hereby call upon the Portfolio Committee of Transport and Roads in the Gauteng Legislature (Parliament) to  turgently investigate the unacceptable conditions of the following Provincial roads; Zuurfontein Street (M18), Modderfontein Road (R25), Pretoria Road (M57) and C R Swart Drive (M90) ; with specific reference to,

• Non-functioning traffic signals
• Broken streetlights
• Potholes
• Non-visible road markings
• Lack of road signs
We further urge the Portfolio Committee to call the Department before it and to obtain a commitment by when the dangerous conditions of the above roads will be addressed and for the Portfolio Committee to report back to the community
