Second chance for students: Open NSFAS Late Applications for All students and Extend Appeal Window

We, the undersigned, urge NSFAS to consider extending the late application period and appeal window for returning students. Many students face unforeseen circumstances, financial constraints, or administrative hurdles that prevent timely applications.

 

Why it matters:

  1.  We faced unexpected challenges, like document delays or financial crises.
  2. Failure to upload outstanding documents on the NSFAS portal.
  3. Returning students need a fair shot at appealing their funding.

What we need:

 

1. A short extension of at least 1 week for late applications.

2. Extend the appeal window for Returning students.
