First off if u live in the country there should not be a problem and if she is not doing anything to the neighbors then why should they think they can force her to be sent away? How would they feel if they had a cat or dog or whatever pet and people were trying to make them get rid of their family pet.

Buella May isn't just a pig she is Adams furbaby. Asking him to get rid of her is like asking him to get rid of a child, of a family member and that isn't right. Buella May be a pig but she sure doesn't act it she acts more like dog and aren't dogs allowed everywhere?

I have two beloved pigs, Archie and Lucinda. They are wonderful pets and I can't imagine ANYONE telling me I can't have them. Buella May, we're all on your side <3

Adam has raised his pig since it was born. The pig is harmless and doesn't bother anyone. That pig is a sweetheart and is great with children. I see nothing wrong with raising a pig like adam and I do believe they are kind of like dogs they just snort.

Ok I signed. I do want to say though that slaughter house is a little dramatic. Even If you did have to get rid of the pig, you wouldn't have to send her to slaughter.

Neighbors need to mind their own business unless there is pending danger, or initiating comradery. So sad that we are subject to the narrow mindedness of those who lead a less than full life.

I signed the petition & fully support everything except I hope you were just using the "slaughter house" for how serious this is & that you wouldn't actually do that to something so special to you. I am a animal lover also & I know I could never do that! There are better options for a beloved pet. I hope you get enough signatures & people in your town leave you & your pet alone.

I signed because I know how well Adam cares for Buella and how much he cares about her.
She is a well behaved animal and as far as I know has never caused problems for anyone. With the exception of a certain pie.

I signed because this is bs. Pot bellied pigs were deemed years ago by the FDA as pets not food. They are clean and peaceful animals. She lives in a rual area. The neighbors need to get over it!

Pigs can be wonderful, loving pets , and they deserve to be treated like any other pet .
