Don't downscale the walking dead

My name is Rebecca, I am starting this petition in the hope that it will reach Robert Kirkman and AMC. 

Recently AMC have said that they are downscaling the gore and violence on the T.V series - The Walking Dead.

Anyone who watches this show will understand the importance of this in an apocalyptic world to survive. 

It does not offend us in anyway, shape or form. 

I have been a fan of this show since it aired on day one and it had a big impact on my life and other people's lives, in more ways than one; Lately many of the loyal fans have become upset and frustrated that the shows creator has decided to dumb down the Walker action in a bid to gain more viewers and a larger audience, which I think is unfair to the loyal fan base.

I understand that the show has received complaints but if people don't like it, then they don't have to watch it; It is that simple.

This show is of horror genre and is only suitable for adult viewing and before each episode this is stated, which has me gob smacked that the show has being getting complaints for gore and violence.. 

I have witnessed more violence and gore in movies that are of drama in nature, ie war films and such; It has come to a point now that someone has to speak up, for the real fandom of this series and I decided that this person would be me.

I know how much this show means to people and to have it altered in a way that discredits it's genre is a terrible tragedy and thus the audience will eventually get bored and have no interest anymore, which will have a disastrous outcome ie show cancellation and we don't want that to happen!
