Coral Beach Estate Powercuts

We, the undersigned residents of Coral Beach Estates, call upon IM Power to fulfill its promises and address the ongoing power disruptions in our community. The initial commitment to create a load-shedding-free environment through the installation of solar plants has not been realized, leaving us with frequent and disruptive power outages.

This failure to deliver has resulted in immense frustration among residents, who purchased homes under the expectation of reliable energy supply independent of Eskom’s load-shedding schedule. Instead, we are left to endure daily disruptions, which are negatively impacting our quality of life and forcing us to contend with broken promises.

Repeated requests for meetings with IM Power to explain the delays and the failure of the solar plan have been met with silence. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. As residents, we deserve clear answers and immediate action to ensure the completion of the promised solar infrastructure.

We demand:

1. A public meeting with IM Power to provide transparent updates and timelines on the solar installation project.
2. A detailed report on the causes of the delay and what steps are being taken to resolve it.
3. Immediate action to mitigate the impact of the ongoing power disruptions until the solar infrastructure is operational.

We ask for the support of Coral Beach Estates residents and stakeholders to demand accountability from IM Power. Together, we can ensure that the promises made to us are honored, restoring both trust and reliable power in our community.
