As this band WERE the biggest TEEN SENSATION of THE SEVENTIES ERA FROM THE U.K.Makes a bit of sense I reckon. The only big teen sensation in the seventies, that broke through in the States. Other pop bands did of course, but not a teen idol band though, I believe. To be compared to the Beatles in any shape or form is something. Who were a teen sensation in themselves if you thought about it. They were publicised massively for the hysteria they caused. Just like the Rollers. It wasn,t until later the press went on about their talent, and not the hysreria,part of their fame.
