نامه به دكتر ظريف در مورد نيروگاه متسامور

جناب آقای دکتر ظریف
وزیر محترم امور خارجه
با سلام و احترام چنانچه استحضار دارید، نیروگاه هسته¬ای متسامور ارمنستان در سال 1969 میلادی شروع به ساخت و در 1976 و 1980 با بکارگیری دو دستگاه راکتور که عمر مفیدشان 30 سال تعیین شده بود، مورد بهره برداری واقع شد. فعالیت نیروگاه مذکور به دلیل زلزله درسال 1988 حدود 7 سال متوقف و در سال 1995 مجددا فعال گردید.
نیروگاه متسامور ارمنستان، با توجه به سابقه حادثه نیروگاه هسته¬ای چرنوبیل کشور اکراین در سال 1986 و قدیمی بودن تکنولوژی و ایمنی پایین موجب نگرانی اتحادیه اروپا و کشورهای همسایه ارمنستان شده است. در برخی مقالات پژوهشی طبق مدلسازی صورت گرفته در خصوص الگوی انتشار مواد رادیواکتیو ناشی از حادثه احتمالی در متسامور، مواد پرتوزا در کمتر از 24 ساعت شمالغرب کشورمان را تحت تاثیر قرارخواهد داد.
لذا با درایت و اقتدار دیپلماتیک که با نام شریف حضرتعالی در دنیای سیاست عجین شده است، ما اساتید و دانشجویان محیط زیست از شما تقاضا داریم، همگام با کشورهای منطقه و اتحادیه اروپا، بخشی از توان دیپلماسی کشور را در جهت توقف فعالیت یکی از خطرناکترین نیروگاه¬های هسته¬ای فعال جهان و تقویت پدافند غیرعامل در داخل کشور متمرکز فرمایید تا به یاری خداوند متعال شاهد فاجعه محیط زیستی و تهدید امنیت انسانها و اکوسیستم منطقه نباشیم.
