A blogger found guilty of insulting the Prophet Mohammad in his postings on Facebook has been sentenced to death. Soheil Arabi, will be able to appeal the decision until dec 20, 2014.

به گزارش بام،ارگان خبری بنیاد اکبر محمدی حکم اعدام سهیل عربی، فعال فیسبوکی به اتهام سب النبی(دشنام به پيامبر) و ائمه اطهار در دیوان عالی کشور تایید و پرونده وی به اجرای احکام ارسال شد.
سهیل عربی عكاس و فعال در شبكه هاي اجتماعي مي باشد كه در فضاي مجازي مطالبي را به طنز درباره مسائل سياسي و اجتماعي روز جامعه منتشر ميكرد .
اين زندانی كه هم اكنون در بند ۳۵۰ زندان اوین نگهداری می‌شود، زنداني از قربانیان پروژه سال گذشته اطلاعات سپاه برای برخورد با شهروندان فعال در فیس بوک است.
سهیل عربی و وکیلش ضمن اعتراض به اتهام سب النبی، بارها این اتهام را رد کرده‌اند. آن‌ها همچنین به ماده ۲۶۳ قانون مجازات اسلامی در مورد اتهام سب النبی استناد می‌کنند که می‌گوید: «هرگاه متهم به سب، ادعا نماید که اظهارات وی از روی اکراه، غفلت، سهو یا در حالت مستی یا غضب یا سبق لسان یا بدون توجه به معانی کلمات و یا نقل قول از دیگری بوده است، ساب النبی محسوب نمی‌شود».
سکوت امروز یعنی اعدام
این سکوت یقه فردایمان را خواهد گرفت اگر فردایی برایمان بگذاریند
شاید قربانی بعدی ما باشیم
این اقدام جمع آوری امضاء است صرفا برای منع اعدام ها در ایران و تلاش ان مبنی
براین است که ما خواستار ابطال حکم اعدام سهیل عربی فعال فیسبوکی هستیم
