Stop Industrial Development in North Manheim Township

It has come to our community's attention that plans are being made to implement zoning changes and develop a largely residential and agricultural area in North Manheim Township for commercial and industrial use. Its proximity to Route 61 is all too enticing to big developers looking for their next project. The land these developers are hoping to acquire includes farm land and surrounding parcels located along Adamsdale Road and Greenview Road in Schuylkill Haven and runs parallel to Route 61. Part of this proposed plan includes building two or more large warehouses on the property which could have innumerable negative effects on our area: increased trucking traffic, roadway damage, drainage and runoff issues, decreased property value, noise, light and air pollution to name a few.

If you are in opposition to the zoning changes and development of this area for the aformentioned purpose, please consider signing this petition to help put an end to these plans before it's too late. This is our home. If we don't fight for it, who will?
