Speed humps to be installed on Normanby Drive Greenvale

This petition is for speed humps or some sort of speed deterrence to be installed on Normanby drive Greenvale.

Initially the petition was for speed humps to be installed from the corner of Normanby & Barrymore road up until the children's playground (Park) opposit Barlbry court, however there is many residents who are coming forward in full support of speed humps and are from the other side of Normanby drive.
As I've been told the speeding driver issue is happening right around Normanby with accidents happening regularly on both sides. 
Many accidents have occurred from drivers using the straights as the place to accelerate and then once approaching to the blind bends end up losing control.

Not to mention the condition of the road itself. The road is in terrible condition and has many defects in it. There is large dips in the road which are extremely noticeable at low speeds, however if travelled over at a significant speed these defects will cause a vehicle to lose control in itself.   

The most recent accident was a vehicle plowing through the front yard of a Normanby residents home where only a short time before a couple walked by in the exact spot the car came through. Not to mention the family and young child were playing in the front yard just hours before the accident.

After talking to so many residents we are shocked to hear the amount of accidents that have occurred within the last 12 -24 months.
Residents cars written off by just being parked at the front of their homes. Cars being side swiped , letter boxes taken out, cars crashing into fences and most recently cars ending up in people's front yards. It's a miracle no one has died up till now. 

Many families here on Normanby have young Children who play outside, the street has so many pedestrians walking the streets on a daily basis and it's only a matter of time until someone is seriously injured or killed.
