Objection of Opening Liqour Store on Bangalore Drive

We the residents of Lenasia  object to the opening of a Liqour Vendor on 457 Bangalore Drive, Ext 11a, Lenasia which is a Residential Area. We object on two(2) Fundamental issues:

 

  1. The town planning process was not followed by the owner.
  2. the Liqour Vendor would certainly create a social problem in our community and cause major disturbances due to anti-social behaviour.

We do believe that as residents of Lenasia we are creating a society on values and principals and want to ensure that the future of our youth is based on these principals.

 

We therefore petition the Liqour Board and the City of Johannesburg Planning Department to immediately decline the Liqour Licence as well as decline the rezoning from a Residential premises to a business residence.
