MAKE DOG MEAT ILLEGAL!

1. Situation

Recently the The Gauhati High Court at Kohima recently quashed the notification dated July 4, 2020 issued by Chief Secretary, Nagaland Government banning the commercial import, trading of dogs and dog markets as well as commercial sale of dog meat in markets and dine in restaurants. 

2. Reversing the change:

Since ages humans have been consuming different species. And it is understood that you cannot stop it all. This meat consumption practice has completely penetrated into our society. What we are attempting is to prevent another innocent animal adding up to the list and the "new normal" of dog meat consumption. Even though making dog meat consumption illegal might not totally prevent this from happening, but it would certainly save the lives of thousands dogs who could end up being the victims otherwise. These innocent creatures need your urgent help.

3. The demand proposed here is simple: make dog meat illegal!
