JUSTICE FOR THE WOMEN RAPED IN MANIPUR

This is Manipur India 2023

Where women's bodies are being used as a weapon exploited, abused and left to wage war.

The sexual assault of a Kuki mother and daughter, who were stripped naked and paraded while being groped and molested by a mob of men who forced them into a field and eventually raped them. This is the latest example of that. 

When will this stop!? Would it only stop once we have enough cases and accounts to raise eyebrows or make people uncomfortable or when the government of India finally decides when it’s suitable to act?!

What will it take for you to be pushed to action!? 
These horrific actions happening in your state? In your City in your village or town? 
To someone you know? Your Mother? Your daughter?! 

 
Maybe it will never stop and justice will never be served as the news will just get old and we will stop feeling the rage and anger and one day there will be someone else in the same position.

Why hasn’t the government knowing that Manipur is burning protected Manipur ? Why are the women assumed to be safe ? What are we willing to let slide before we act?

 

WE WANT JUSTICE AND WE WANT IT NOW- so I request all the people listening to me , reading this petition to sign this

My appeal is that we are heard that these hideous assaults won’t just remain stories but will become testimonials of justice being served in India.

No Justice No peace


The horrific video of the two women was widely shared on social media on Wednesday. It shows them being dragged and groped by a mob of men who then push them into a field.

 

"The gang rape of the women happened after the village was burnt down and two men - one middle-aged and another a teenager - were beaten to death by the mob,"

What does it say about who we are as a people if when we hear something like this has happened we're not pushed to action from within ourselves!?

We believe in India and its people to help get  justice for these women of Manipur.
