Hood County, Texas Petition to Investigate Abuse of Official Capacity.

We, the undersigned qualified voters of Hood County, Texas, pursuant to the Article V, Section 24 of the Texas Constitution, Penal Code, Chapter 39, Sec. 39.02. Abuse of Official Capacity, petition the Board of Trustees of the Granbury Independent School District (GISD), Hood County, Texas, (also known as the GISD School Board) to demand a fair and unbiased independent forensic investigation into the full extent the GISD Assistant Superintendent, Jimmy Dawson used GISD property, namely a Cessna airplane, for personal benefit . We request that the GISD School Board direct the District Attorney or County Attorney to oversee and process the investigation through the Hood County 355th District Court, the Honorable Judge Bryan Bufkin. Should the County Attorney and the District Attorney feel it is prudent to bring in unbiased counsel rather than prosecute this matter themselves, then the undersigned give their consent that the Texas Attorney General be called in to prosecute an offense pursuant to Chapter 39, Texas Penal Code, and/or call for the services of other counsel to prosecute this matter.
