Genocide of Bangladeshi Hindus and local civilians
Why this petition matters
To: The Global Hindu Community
We, the undersigned citizens of Bharat, express our deep concern regarding the recent atrocities, women raped, killing, demolished hindu houses and shops by Jamat and BNP party workers including their leaders. To further support our movement, we call everyone should come together and sign the petition for #SaveHindus movement in Bangladesh and we will fight together to show the strength the power of Hindus 🚩
Reasons for Our Call:
Hindus under attack :: As civil unrest rocks Bangladesh, multiple Hindus have been murdered, with homes and temples attacked by Islamist mobs over the last 2/3 days. Videos and photographs have emerged showing the extent of the anti-Hindu violence, with many Hindu groups claiming that this is just the tip of the iceberg. Several videos and reports of temples being set on fire and houses and businesses of Hindus being attacked flooded social media in at least 27 districts.
Many Hindu temples have been attacked, such as ISKCON Noakhali, Kali Mandir Noakhali, Kali Mata temple in Kandipara, ISKCON Meherpur, Gour-Nitai Temple Rangpur, Chittagong Navagraha Temple, Notun Kali Temple Moulvibazar, Chittagong Hajari Goli Sri Krishna Temple, and many others.
Many Hindu Councillors, Haradhan and Kajal Roy were lynched by a mob in Rangpur. Hindu police constable Suman Kumar Gharami was beaten to death in Khulna.
Most of the hospitals are denying treatment to injured Hindus for them being non-muslims.
Hindus in Bangladesh have long been the targets of systematic violence in Bangladesh. During Bangladesh's freedom struggle in 1970-71, Hindus made up approximately 80% of those who were killed despite being only 20% of the population.
The Bangladesh government estimated that up to 2.4 million of the 3 million Bangladeshis killed in a genocide by Pakistan's Army were Hindus. These numbers are not coincidental.
Many Hindu groups today claim that current violence is being carried out by Islamist groups who were also involved in the 1971 Hindu genocide in Bangladesh.
The economically impoverished Hindus cannot expect any support from the State Government and will soon face the option of convert or starve.
