I would like to know the reason for the evictions. Even though the renewal annual renwal clause is in the lease the municipality never fowarded renewal addendums so I'm of the impression thewitzenberg municipality was not to concerned about terms and conditions of the lease

My family have been Camping in Pineforest since 1958 this has come as a great shock, so much for open transparency why does municipality not divulge what is happening or what is in the pipeline.

I was of the opinion that the days of the gravy train was over, but clearly not. The semi private, refering to is obviously somebody within the municipality's ranks that will benefit from it all. One word. SKELM.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE MUNICIPALITY AND THE COUNCIL,OH I KNOW, THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE CANT RUN THE MUNICIPALITY NOR THE COUNCIL,THATS WHY THEY DOING THIS.BUT HEY, JUST PRAY FOR THE MUNICIPALITY AND THE COUNCIL AND THE LORD WILL SORT THEM OUT. AMEN.

Will we ever get the truth from the Witzenberg Municipality? Its shameful the way they have handled the whole situation - so underhanded. They are running Dennebos at a loss because of poor management and now need to get their hands on more money - there have been no upgrades done so where is all the money going, our levies are increased annually.. Just this weekend there were toilets that were blocked / not flushing (ladies) We have to stop this and save "The Bos" from them before they totally destroy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laying claim to any property that does not belong to you, is theft= a criminal act. If indeed the structures that have been erected by individuals from hard earned money, are to be seized by Witzenberg municipality, the officials responsible for this are criminals. They must remember that THERE IS A GOD, and HE is all aware of what everyone does... that HE does not sleep or slumber ... do unto others what you want others to do unto you,,, and if others cannot return the favour, GOD will..... I assume that these officials are God-fearing as they asked for their meeting to be opened with a prayer ... and I hope they reflect on their promises and discussion with us on 6 Jan.. HE does not forget and HIS name should not be used in vain.

My wife,as a child with her parents and brothers and after our marriage spent many holidays in the Dennebos -over a period of 46 years. It would be an absolute tragety if these facilities with its great character should be terminated.
