Deadline for School Admission

To the Education Department of the country,

I understand under the NEP act which was regulated recently to improvise the education system across the country, however one area of concern is the school admission deadline for considering the age group of the child. For example, some schools have April 30th, some May 31st and some Dec 31st as the deadline to consider 6 years of age for admission into respective schools. As a parents, I am concerned with this regulation as my child DOB is 4th June 2021 and he is 2 years of age, as I am planning to admit him into schools but I am denied admission saying that he will have to repeat the pre school to abide as per regulations. Likewise, any child who was born on May 31st 2021 is given admission into school because he/she will be 6 years of age while admitting into 1st standard. However my child who was born 4 days after this child has to wait complete one year becuase as per the regulation he will be only 5 years of age on May 31st of respectice year, so ideally he will be 7 years while getting admission into 1st standard and thats a sheer waste of an year of a kids life while he could have learnt so much and thats just becuase of the 4 days difference.
We understand the laws and regulations but they are always created for the benefit of the citizens, however in this case I am not comfortable following these regulations as its about an year (365 days) of my child. I request you to look into this matter and take an action of revise the regulation in interest of everyone.
