Citizens for a Safer Neighborhood

We, the citizens of Lee County, Alabama respectfully request that the Lee County Highways/Road Department add speed tables or other deterrents on Lee Road 213, immediately.

Lee Road 213 has been the sight of numerous vehicle accidents over the past year.  Specifically, the area directly adjacent to 701 Lee Road 213 has been the site of multiple accidents.  The residents of 701 Lee Road 213 has had 4 vehicles to pass through or onto their property since 2001, two of which have occurred since July 28, 2013.  These particular accidents have taken the lives of 2 pets and caused in excess of $10,000 worth of property damage. The families in this area request that something be done to slow down the traffic on this road.   Children are not safe to play in their own yards for fear of being hit by out of control vehicles.
