Cell Service for Bay D’Espoir Highway

Over the past few weeks there have been several motor vehicle accidents on the Bay D’Espoir highway. Several close calls with wildlife 🦌 and numerous medical emergencies that require care across the highway. Currently we don’t have a physician in our area and emergencies 🚑 are diverted to either Harbour Breton or Grand Falls. The trip across the highway is a long stretch for all surrounding communities that frequently travel for appointments daily and time is crucial in emergency situations. Ambulance attendants, Paramedics, Fire & Rescue Services, Search & Rescue and On Line Medical help  are all essential services that cannot be reached for a estimated 100km stretch.  We should not have to worry about calling for help in case of an emergency.  Government has money for almost everything but the investment into better CELL service 📱📵and towers on our highway is critical and can possibly save lives. The cost we pay for our services are outrageous and the lack of reception in these areas are a huge concern for thousands who travel our highway. Elvis Loveless, any direction into this issue and how things can be brought to the right departments in Government for consideration. We deserve better and the sense of security that comes with reaching out for help is priceless.💰
