Can you imagine having your 17-year-old son taken from you and given a life sentence without parole for a crime he didn’t commit?

No one can imagine this.

Can you also imagine finding out the shooter was released and found innocent for self-defense,
while you son remains in jail?

No one can imagine this.

I’m a mother who is experiencing this right now. My son Edward Barrerio-Trevino has been in
jail for the past 10 years, while the shooter is walking free.

A witness has recently testified and has shed light as to what actually happened in favor of my
son.
