A Fourth Diamond for Calgary Senior Men's Slopitch!
Calgary Senior Men's Slopitch League is growing! There are many seniors in Calgary who would love to join our exceptionally fun and challenging slopitch league. And we NEED to grow, because if we don't make the effort we will eventually wither and die as an organization.
Toward that end, the League has talked for years and years about other venues or gaining control, through Triwood Community Centre, of the 'Triwood Baseball' diamond just south of the Triwood 1 diamond we already use.
The issues has been stalled for years, and it's time we made our needs clear to the City of Calgary. Triwood Community Centre fully supports us in this and as usual will be our loyal partner.
The 'Triwood Baseball' diamond is under-utilized, and we hope that with this effort we might gain control of it for our 2023 season!
Will you please lend your support to the issue by signing this petition for THE CITY OF CALGARY TO RELEASE THE TRIWOOD BASEBALL DIAMOND TO THE CONTROL OF TRIWOOD COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION. The petition will be sent to Ward 4 Councillor Sean Chu and to the City of Calgary Park and Recreation Department.
