PETITION TO TRIM TREES INTERFERING WITH POWER LINES IN WARD 82

Petition: Trim trees that interfere with power cables in Ward 82 (Menlo Park, Ashlea Gardens, Alphen Park, Maroelana, Hazelwood, Waterkloof and Lynnwood)  

We, the undersigned residents of Ward 82 in the City of Tshwane Municipality, call on the City of Tshwane to take action in trimming trees throughout Ward 82 that interfere with power cables. Such interferences result in power outages and damages to power lines, which then cause significant disruptions to the community and increase safety and security risks owing to a lack of adequate lighting and other security measures. We therefore demand that the municipality ensures that trees in the area are trimmed so as to prevent future power outages and disruptions.
