The lawlessness in Mitchells Plain and the surrounding Cape Flats areas are out of control.
The worse is the zero comments from the politicians. There is no outcry from those in power although you have a community crying!

Fed Up of gangsterism violence abuse murders drug smuggling In our country

I was raised in Westridge, Mitchell's Plain.Everything I am stems from the brilliant education I received at the schools there.

To fight drugs and crime in Mitchells Plain and for the safety of our children

To fight crime and drugs and to clean our roads where we will be able to walk safe and also to create a safe environment for our children

Living in mitchells plain has gone from bad to worse.

we need to get the authorities to clamp down on gangsterism & drugs in our areas

Why did you sign this petition? I have a 10 year old daughter and 13 year old son, and i wish to see a bright future for them and all other children

something needs to be done about all these gangsters and how it's becoming a norm to see people get shot and killed in broad daylight.

I signed this petition for the sake of my kids and all the innocent people in Mitchells Plain and the rest of the Cape Flats....we need stronger forces than the police to illiminate gangsterism and drugs in our communitty.

I love Mitchells Plain and I love my people.Its so sad to see how our children are killing each. It is just so senseless.

I signed this petition because of our generations future, our future generations future and freedom. Freedom was fought for but here we live in fear. Limitations suck. We want safety, We want security and We want our freedom back!

It is our right as a community to protect our safety. We have to do more to stop the drug addicts and gangstarism in Mitchell's Plain. The violence and illegal activity that is happening in Mitchell's Plain have to come to and end. We and our kids have to be allowed to walk to a shop and play and not be affraid that we might get robbed, raped, kidnapped or killed. Safety its all about safety.

We are fed up of gov doing nothing about the crime

Im tired of all this corruption, gangsterism, murders, robberies,drugs in the communities,break ins and vandalising of our properties and nobody seems to care or do anything about the situation. Ive had endless problems with thugs vandalising my property by removing vibecrate slabs ,smoking tik and unga having sex in the yard and breaking into houses theres even some of them sleeping in the yard as i live in Portlands next to the railway line during the day, night time and early hours of the morning, I chased them away and guess what they came back and smashed my windows..I called the police once and their reply was that its not their problem I must call law enforcement.Nothing came from this and I took matters in my own hands now I have to watch my back whenever I walk in Town Centre coz the guys that I beat up is gang related.And ive been told that ive been watched for a long time.So now I fear the safety of myself and my family cos i dont know when they are about to strike and if I call the police station the phone rings forever so to make a long story short thats the reason why im sighning this petition coz ive had enough we need to make it a better place not only for us but also for the future of our children as they are the future doctors,proffesors,lawyers,teachers and even president so pleassssse help us to make this a better and safer place for all...

We all have an obligation towards our community in M/Plain. I urge each and everyone to sign this petition and force the government to make it a safer place for all our children to grow up in!!
