The park is a public space paid for by rate payers and it's primary use should be maintained and not spoiled by commercial enterprise. By spoiled, I mean access, noise, impeded view.

I agree!    There used to be a lady with a kayak who took her dog for a swim and also a man and children boating - they haven't been seen since the wires etc from the commercial wave-boarding which almost cut the lagoon in two.

It is great place for dogs to play. People come from far awaywith their dogs as it is one of best dog parks in Aucklans

I have been using this park for 10 years and now they want to change the way we have been enjoying it.
