Talley Matress & Clean Linen services
We undersigned Medirest Porters Barnet Hospital, we disagrees and we refuse doing the job duty of delivering Talley Matress and the clean linen during the week days and the weekend for the reasons listed below:
- The both jobs duties mentioned above not belongs to our job description since the both new private companies ELis and DHG took over this service.
- Elis Specialized healthcare laundry firm are responsible for washing and supplying linens, scrubs, and uniforms to Barnet Hospital
- Direct Healthcare Group ( DHG) have a A contract for pressure mattress rental was awarded to Direct Healthcare Group on April 1, 2023, specifically for the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust ( Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, Royal Free London Hospital, North Middlesex Hospital).
- We are not responsible for poor Ward management that causes unavailability of the linen and Talley Mattress in the Ward especially in Bank Holidays and Weekends, as should be requested whole Talley Mattress cage and more linen quantities.
- We are not responsible also for the both companies didn't hired more workers to cover evening shifts.
- there is no direct information confirming the specific contractual terms, including variation clauses, between Medirest (a part of Compass Group UK & Ireland) and Elis or DHG companies.
