Requesting Honourable President of India for the Installation of Swami Vivekananda's Statue in AMU

The Current and Former Students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) are eligible to Sign this Petition.

Every Year National Youth Day is observed on January 12 to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda Ji, who always inspired the country's youth and advocated for the proper use of youth in the country's development.

Born as Narendranath Datta, Swami Vivekananda Ji devoted his life to the cause of the people. His teachings continue to inspire people across the world and people of all ages, especially youth.

Swami Vivekananda Ji was a profound thinker, philosopher, and above all, an emblem of youthful vigour across the world. His teachings imbued a sense of confidence and self-belief among the youth of India and beyond, hence, the epitome of a Global Youth.

This Petition has been started due to the growing demand among the current and former students of AMU for the Installation of the Swami Vivekananda's Statue in the University.

On the Occasion of the National Youth Day 2025, we will send this Petition along with all the Signatures to the Honourable President of India who is also the Visitor of the University, Requesting for the Installation of Swami Vivekananda's Statue in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

Proposing for the Installation of his statue in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will have a deep and positive impact. It will serve as a constant reminder of the power of youth and the importance of national unity and harmony, both critical aspects of Swami Vivekananda's teachings.

In Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), this act will induce a motivation in the student body to encompass Swami Vivekananda's spirit and vision.
