Stop Stagecoach South Wales changes to timetable

SIGN THE PETITION - STAGECOACH SOUTH WALES TO REVERSE THE NEW JULY 2023 TIMETABLE

Stagecoach South Wales are making cuts to valuable bus services and routes within Merthyr and Rhondda Cynon Taf. 

These changes from 23/7/23 do not meet the local government’s vision for integrated public transport, especially with the new Metro service, which is to encourage public transport use, not decrease it.  

We call upon our MP, Gerald Jones and our AM, Dawn Bowden to address these changes with Stagecoach on our behalf as they have done previously.  

Hourly bus services are being brought in on some routes which pre Covid had 3 buses an hour. 

Stagecoach should be looking to increase their services, they have enough profit annually to run better services in South Wales.

We the undersigned think these cuts are unnecessary due to the impact they will have on local communities, school pupils, workers, unemployed, OAP’s, anyone in fact who relies on public transport to get them from A-B.
