The Droxford Fire Station has been proposed by stealth to be closed, as soon as November 2026.

With this proposal, by stealth, we will lose this vital life saving coverage, where seconds matter.
Not to mention that, firefighters do not just fight fires, they are involved in a wide variety of situations ranging from community fire safety, flooding, co-responding, road accidents and chemical spills to retrieving animals from awkward situations - all of which we have in abundance.
