Request for Sears Point Special Meeting

Dear Sears Point Managing Board:
We the undersigned share the view that major community decisions, such as any requiring a two-thirds approval of unit owners, benefit from, and are entitled to, broad, open discussion. Therefore, in accordance with Article III, Section 3 of the Sears Point Declaration of Trust Schedule E (“By-Laws of Sears Point Condominium Association”), we call upon the President to call a special meeting of the unit owners. The general purpose of this meeting is to be in connection with the proposed amendment communicated by the board to the ownership on November 22, 2024. Specifically, the meeting is to provide a forum for the following:

• For owners to ask questions of the board and receive responses about the proposed amendment
• For owners to express views in favor and against the proposed amendment.
• For owners to suggest improvements or alternatives to the proposed amendment.

We further call upon the President to conduct this special meeting no later than fourteen days prior to the closing of the voting period associated with this proposed amendment.
