Petition for new accounting teacher
We, the Grade 12 Accounting learners, respectfully submit this petition to request that the school reviews the current teaching situation in our Accounting class.
Accounting is an important subject that contributes significantly to our final matric results and future study opportunities. However, many learners in our class are currently achieving very low marks and struggling to understand the work being taught. This has created concern among us as learners, especially because this is our final year of high school.
We believe that the current teaching approach is not helping us fully understand the Accounting content, which has contributed to the low marks that many learners are receiving. We have also noticed that the pass rate for Accounting in previous years has consistently been low, which suggests that learners may not be receiving the support and explanations needed to perform well in this subject.
As Grade 12 learners, we are under significant pressure to perform well academically. We believe that having a different teacher, who may be able to explain the work more effectively and provide additional academic support, could help improve our understanding and overall results.
Our intention is not to disrespect or undermine the current teacher, but rather to ensure that we receive the best possible support to succeed in this crucial year.
We kindly request that the school management considers reviewing this matter and, if possible, assigning us a new Accounting teacher so that we may have a better opportunity to improve our marks and pass rate.
