ONLINE PETITION: REJECTION OF COUNCILOR JULIA AS WARD 49 CANDIDATE

TO: ANC Provincial and National Leadership

FROM: The Youth and Residents of Ward 49, Thaba Nchu

We, the youth and residents of Ward 49, Thaba Nchu, are raising our voices because we are not happy with the decision to put forward Council Julia again as our candidate.

Why we are concerned:

1. No delivery: During councilor Julia's term, Ward 49 saw little to no service delivery. Issues like unemplyoment, poor roads, lack of youth facilities (sport0 and water/electricity problems are still not fixed
2. No engagement: Youth was not consulted about this decision. Our concerns continue to be ignored.
3. Need for new leadership: Ward 49 needs a councilor who will work with us and deliver results, not repeatt unfulfilled promises.

Our demand:

We urge ANC provincial and National step in and reconsider the nomination of Cunclor Julia for Ward 49.

We request transparent process to select a new candidate who will be accountable to the people of Thaba Nchu, and who will prioritize youth and residents issues.

We believe our ward deserves better. We, the youth and residents of ward 49, Thaba Nchu reject the nomination of Councilor Julia.
