Online petition regarding NEET PG 2022

I Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki (MeDeVision National Convenor) request all of you to please sign this petition. With this petition to Hon'ble Health Minister, we want to  raise some issues regarding a notification of advertisement for NEETPG 2022 issued by NBE. According to which exam is scheduled to happen on 12th March 2022 & eligibility criteria of Internship competition to appear in exam is kept 31st may 2022. As NEET PG 2021 counselling got delayed and started now 4 months after result. Its still going on and expected to be completed by 16th March 2022, this notification has created too much chaos among NEET PG 2022 aspirants due to following reasons :

1. Ineligibility of a lot of Interns (around 10k) from Gujarat ,kerala and 9 other states if eligibility criteria of Internship completion is kept 31st May.This ineligibility is grossly unfair for these young medicos who served in COVID when asked to.

2. Ineligibility of these 10k interns will lead to loss of a whole year which will be totally unfair to these COVID warriors.

3.The students who would not get any seat in this counselling will come to know about their fate only after the counselling ends i.e on 16th March 2022. Exam before the conclusion of previous year counselling is creating sense of confusion amongst students.

4. Batch of NEET PG 2021 students will start their residency only around 20th feb and if new batch starts in July, there will be gap of just 4 month amongst two consecutive batches. This will adversely affect skill learning among consecutive batch resident doctors. A gap of atleast 6 month should be kept between two batches, so that proper skills can be imparted to the residents.

 Our Suggestions :

1. Eligibility criteria of Internship completion should be changed and adjusted so that Interns of current batch become eligible to give this exam.

2.To make whole Postgraduate(MD/MS) admission process efficient and avoid situation of counselling like 2021; process of examination,result, counselling should be synchronised in such a way that counselling process starts within 10-15 days after result.
