This petition is directed as an urgent appeal towards the Nelson Mandela Bay Local Government - especially the NMBM Sport, Recreation, Arts & Culture Department:
Our Artists & Crafters are predominantly hidden & unknown in our Metro. We are therefore missing out on opportunities to be known, recognized & supported.
We therefore & herewith are requesting that the Metro allocates, free of charge, the corner section of the Noninzi Luzipho House (Pleinhuis) venue (opposite the Main Library & the City Hall, to our Artists & Crafters to set up and to operate a Central Artists & Crafters Information Office, where they will be able to distribute promotionial & information materials.
The reason why we have chosen this space, is that it is in the hub, where not only Politicians & Officials frequent, but furthermore is the Hotspot of international dignatiries, tourists and various categories of visitors.
