Introduce Goodnites XXL-Equivalent DryNites in the UK for Older Children and Neurodivergent Youth

We, the undersigned, urge Kimberly-Clark to expand the UK DryNites product range to include a larger size comparable to the new Goodnites XXL available in the United States.

Currently, the UK’s largest DryNites (13+ years) fit children up to around 60 kg (132 lbs), but this isn’t enough for many older children, teens, and young adults who experience both bedwetting and daytime incontinence due to neurodevelopmental conditions like autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or physical health issues.

In the US, Kimberly-Clark introduced Goodnites XXL in response to growing demand. These larger pull-ups fit up to 75 kg (165 lbs), offer a higher waistband and rise, and provide significantly more absorbency—up to 710ml. They also look and feel like underwear, which helps maintain privacy, dignity, and comfort for older users.

Importantly, Goodnites XXL also provide a more affordable and less clinical option compared to many adult incontinence products, which are often bulky, expensive, and not designed with children or teens in mind. For families, these extended DryNites could fill a huge gap—offering practical support without sacrificing comfort or self-esteem.

Children and teens who need incontinence support shouldn’t be left behind once they outgrow child sizes. Kimberly-Clark has already recognised this in the US. Now we’re asking them to do the same for UK families—because every young person deserves comfort, dignity, and inclusion, day and night.

We, the undersigned, urge Kimberly-Clark to expand the UK DryNites product range by introducing a larger size equivalent to the US Goodnites XXL — a move that would make a huge difference to older children, teens, and young adults who live with incontinence.

Currently, the largest DryNites available in the UK are for ages 13+, designed to fit children weighing up to 60 kg (132 lbs). However, this size is inadequate for many neurodivergent and disabled young people who continue to experience both bedwetting and daytime incontinence well into adolescence and beyond. Families are left struggling to find products that offer dignity, comfort, and practicality.

In the United States, Kimberly-Clark responded to these challenges by launching Goodnites XXL. These offer a more generous fit (up to 75 kg / 165 lbs), a taller rise for better coverage, and up to 710 ml (24 oz) of absorbency. They are specifically designed for older children and teens who have not yet achieved full bladder control — something that is especially common in children with autism, ADHD, sensory issues, learning disabilities, and certain physical conditions.

Incontinence doesn't magically end at age 13. For many families, it's a long-term reality, and the right products make all the difference. Proper fit prevents leaks, improves sleep quality, reduces laundry burdens, and most importantly, protects a child’s self-esteem and confidence. For daytime use, products like Goodnites XXL are also discreet under clothing — unlike bulky adult incontinence products, which often don’t fit younger body shapes and can cause social anxiety or stigma.

Cost is another major concern. Adult incontinence pull-ups can be prohibitively expensive and are often designed for elderly individuals rather than active, school-aged children and teens. Goodnites XXL (or an equivalent DryNites product) would offer a more affordable, more appropriate option, especially for families already stretched by the extra costs that often come with raising a disabled child.

The current gap in the UK market leaves many families forced to import larger sizes from abroad, which is costly, unreliable, and not viable for most. Others are left resorting to medical pads or plastic bedding, which don’t meet their child’s needs. Some even risk their child going without appropriate protection entirely, simply because no product in the UK fits.

Kimberly-Clark has already shown they understand these needs exist — by launching Goodnites XXL in the US. But UK families need the same consideration. Children and young people in the UK deserve access to inclusive, age-appropriate continence products that protect their comfort, dignity, and quality of life — no matter how old or how big they are.

We ask Kimberly-Clark to listen to UK families, carers, professionals, and disabled individuals calling for this change. Please introduce a larger DryNites option in the UK, equivalent to the US Goodnites XXL.

Because incontinence doesn't end with childhood — and dignity shouldn't either.
