Consider the diverse needs and concerns within our community, from improving public police service, visible policing, availability of response vehicles and then office equipment, stationary and cleaning supplies to ensure the upliftment of morale at station level. Because of a total lack of leadership regarding our current Station Commander, we are facing the decrease of Staff morale, mismanagement, increasing transfers of competent SAPS members, mistrust in SAPS from the community and our biggest most eminent threat - crime not reported because of no confidence and poor assistance/ no assistance at the Hercules Police Station Charge office.

Poor leadership from the Station Commander results in the abovementioned as well as - the lack of soft skills and willingness to assist the community from station level, and crime stats reflecting incorrectly, resulting in our Police station being downgraded, lack of manpower and vehicle availibility. Abovementioned is only a few examples of the challenges we face at Hercules Police Station.
