Because I feel very strongly about children and their needs. If our government doesnt help them they will not grow up with any values. And thus country needs to look after our children first and foremost.

It is sad that our government can't invest in the interests of these children - our future generation. As a community, we need to show that we care.

We see everyday how the welfare organizations are struggelling from day to day to make ends meet and there are also not enough children's home and the public have to open up their homes as a place of safety.

I believe the ANC government is failing miserably in most of it's tasks m!!

Children should not be made to suffer

Children are our future, they need to be protected, housed and fed.

The children are our future. Government must stop lining their pockets with the tax payers money, and start supporting those in need!

Because as usual the anc ministers are filling their stomachs and forgetting about the needy children. One only has to look at the pictures of the so called ministers in parliament. Bunch of overweight pigs especially the women.

Attrocious if Goverment can't help these kids who can?

All children need our help.

Because I know how it can work - in Austria funding orphanages is not an issue. The young children are the future of every country. In Africa Governments tend to pocket state money, buy luxurious homes for themselves and expect private institutions to take care of orphans. This will backfire on them one day.

While the support of children in impoverished circumstances is both a community and government responsibility. I have seen that the minimal government financial support for NGO's delivering the governments statutory services to children in need falls well short of the needs of our local community. The inconsistent and unreliable funding through the Lotto, may from time to time enable such NGO's to establish, repair or replace essential equipment/facilities needed to deliver governments statutory services but cannot be relied on for ongoing operational funding. As such, NGO's have to either limit the numbers of children they provide services to or find another way to fund the services to the level the community needs. I signed this petition in the hope that greater awareness can be created of the plight of NGO's and some thing can be done to assist them in either securing more government funding or providing a mechanism, other than the Lotto, to raise the money they need on a more sustainable basis.

I sent this petition because i am sick and tired of the lies and incompetence of the ANC goverment.
Such a shame that even the welfare of the needy children are
ingnored.

Because there are far too many children who are inadequately cared for. Unemployment is at an alltime high which has a direct impact on children.

our children needs to be taken care of they did not ask to be here and it is disgusting to think that our government would rather worry about etoll, and petrol increase then to feed the children its a shame were this country is going to.

 

I stay in alberton and I agree completely with the DA on this. What a disgrace - the most vulnerable people are always last on the list whilst government officials live in luxury. We need to speak up for those without a voice!

I really feel this is a disgrace. Everything is falling appart. Will the stop or do something when there is really nothing left in South Africa?!!!
