I read with dismay the response of director,the issue was not the existence of the words in the Ndebele language kodwa their worth to the community,especially the people at whom it was thrown at,the fact that we know human beings die doesn't mean our youngones have to actively participate in the handling and disposal thereof,but have to be protected from such until they grow up enough,I see no difference with someone using child soldiers hiding behind the they will have been exposed to such sooner or later,stop teaching our kids,cousins and naphews ponographic material ,next tym make an illustration of all those things.....very dissapointed Ndoda

As a parent I want my child to be taught the words we use at home. I don't remember saying any of those offensive words to anyone let alone to a child. I'm cringing right now because they are way too heavy for me. I'm disgusted to think that someone thinks there is nothing WRONG with those words I find difficult to repeat. I don't think that any language in any country in the world has let their primary or school children learn such vulgar language,let alone test them on it. Ah!yah! Ngiphelelwe. The world is surely coming to an end. That paper is rubbish finish and klaar and those who wrote it 5 year in jail for child abuse

The responsible authorities should be put to task. Why didn't they include those type of words in the Shona paper as well. It only shows these people don't respect the Ndebele language

It is unfair to use vulgar language to teach or examine children. Thina safundiswa inhlonipho. Ulimi lwethu luyahlonipha. Kasitsho ukuthi umuntu uyazala sithi uyabeletha; igama elithi umangumba kayisilo lesiNdebele. Lapha angifundisi kodwa ngiyazisa ngendlela ulimi lwethu olusengcupheni ngayo. Ulimi lwethu ligugu lethu. Kumele labezizwe bakuhloniphe lokho. Therefore, whoever is tasked with the responsibility of heading the examinations board of the land should be an honorable person, who values and respect other peoples' culture, for our language is our culture. Ulimi lwethu yibuntu bethu, lisiko lethu futhi yibuntu bethu.

I am not happy about this Ndebele paper and the sooner Mr. Nhandara apologizes the better for all. Even if some of the words are translated into Shona they will still cause an outcry among the Shonas

As always the Ndebele culture is not taken seriously in Zimbabwe. If it were up to me the head of ZIMSEC must be rotated, not having the same person all the time!!
