I am quite disappointed in the new lines that littlepetwarehouse are stocking, i used to think so highly of them prior to this.

The RSPCA minimum for piggies is 4ft x 2ft so 120cm cages are fine for them, they don't need 24 hour access to a run either so the ones with stands are fine too

Big cages for hamsters are important! They need the space to walk around, and have a wonderful life. Selling small cages bellow the minimum cage size is not good! We understand why you are doing it. For money. But a hamsters health and happiness should come first.

Most cages are TOO small for so expensive! Make then at least 400 inches for the same price!

im glad this was set up as people have way to small hamster cages and think they are fine because they got them in a pet shop .

I shared this petition on Instagram and Facebook, I got some of my friends to sign the petition. Lots of my friends own small animals and are glad to see a petition like this being written for an increase of small animal sizes across the country. Best of luck, hope it works!

I also shared this on my YouTube channel, I actually heard of this petition from another YouTuber and thought it was a splendid petition.

personally i've only heard of company a couple of months ago looking for rabbit/guinea cages for my jirds (tanks are having trouble with the wheels) and robos (i ended getting them rody rabbits). found in my window shopping that any cages that are specified for a species and ticks the boxes of what you are looking for have a habit of being v expensive unless you erm look a size up, which i suppose is a bother when you have large small animals. personally if i was gonna get a gpig or bun i'd go to wickes, i remember my mum making a big one for my rabbit snoopy that i could lie in with loads of room to spare so it would have been about 7'l x 4'w x 3'h give or take. no idea what my point was there but i dunno if there is a company which every cage they make are all well above min requirements for their target group, the only way to get them to stop is for laws to come in place. but unfortunately profit, poor info/ill education and profit will have a habit of getting these cages sold until then.

i bought rabbit 80 tripple cage and they never got back to me so far i am claiming my money trough paypal but they changed their returns address straight after i sent the item back to them bastards

i hope every small pet gets the right cage as they can not tell the owners!!! i am also soo glad other people know and agnowlege that small pets need bigger cages! also the min. does not mean that is fine you should go higher. do you want to live in a little box because a hamster without a good sized cage feels thet way! get bigger and good sized cages for pets!

Stop selling small cages for Hamsters! It's a very bad place for hamsters because it is a very small place for them to live in. Would you like to live in a small place and not have that much to do? I am sure you wouldn't like to live in a small place.

I have signed this petition because I believe that some shop bought cages are indeed to small like the ones stocked at this particular store.I was encouraged to sign by ErinsHamsters a very successful YouTube channel which educates others with hamster care I hope that soon theses small cages will cease to exist

Many people know how bad these small cages are: but however many people know, will never be enough. Please sign this petition to get rid of these horrendous excuses for cages, for once and for all. It doesn't cost any money to sign, but you can sponsor advertising space if want to. Please, please, PLEASE do it. No animal deserves to live in a tiny cage. Thankyou.
