R101 - Road of Death!

i travel this road every day and the road is horrific adn they way the people drive, its a death road.

i travel the road every day. This is not safe and the road is in a horrible condition. The cars/ taxis pass left and right.

I have been travelling this road for over 25 years and I have seen to many Deaths of Pedestrians and motorists. ..It must end.

I travel the road of death daily and i know the horrible state of the road. It is a night mare to get on r101 from wallmanstal

I have to drive this road every time I make my way from my residence in Grootvlei to town and home again. It is a nightmare with people driving like maniacs, speeding and overtaking by using the yellow emergency lane.

Use the R101 practically daily and see near miss accidents every time I use the road. Metro and traffic police man 2 sites almost permanently but these sites are static and do not appear to change. Criminally negligent drivers adapt driving around the static policing points and continue their lawlessness post these points

About time something is done about this road. Have seen many horrific accidents. I wonder if the Ministers and President will use this road.

The reckless driving must be punished. It's no use the Metro police stop you to check on drivers licences and the public drives like woolly gens pass you where ever they want to left and right

We drive daily on this road from goodluck centre and this is indeed a very dangerous road.

The road is in a shocking condition especially the road markings.  When it rains at night one cannot see where the middle of the road is nor the side of the road.  The next nightmare is at Bon Accord.  It is impossible to access the R101 from the garage and shops to travel north!!!!  The drivers are extremely inconsiderate and have absolutely no knowledge about where they may NOT overtake another vehicle.

I live on Sphinx Rd and use the R101 daily. I am enraged by the flagrant flouting of any and every traffic regulation by many drivers using this road and the consequent tragic loss of innocent lives. Every day is a challenge to get to and from work without incident and we see and hear of tragedies virtually every week, just on our stretch of road.

I live in sphinx road and have witnessed many accidents and terrible / reckless driving on R101.

w travel this road daily. Is's dangerous to turn onto puma road as the people do not worry about passing you on the right when you stand and wait for change to turn onto puma road. Even getting out of puma road is a hassle people drive likes maniacs and stops any time infront of seen to many accidents and deaths. We can only thank God for getting safe to work and back on this road.

I use that road to get to work at Bon Accord Shopping Centre and the lack of a robot at that centre is making it a life threatening situation everyday I have to get into the centre. But an individual's hands are cut off in cases like this. Its up to municipalities to make a difference and they rarely do.

For the past 26 years we are driving this road. The past ten years it is a nightmare. The taxi's and buses has NO RESPECT FOR ANYONE. The traffic officer's have NO CONTROL OVER THEM !!! DO YOU FORCE US TO TAKE ACTION INTO OUR OWN HANDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because goverment doesn't want too fix our roads but just want money too fly around the world and full there tummys and steal goverment money and corrupt the land further and if there money they don't help all the poor people but helps robert mogabe. With millions but he doesn't repay south africa and if there's deaths on the roads the goverment doesn't hold funruals for them but other unknown south african people who isn't in the goverment either so the goverment must either wake up and worry more abouts it people then unknown people and start upgrading our roads I prevent more deaths from happening and also take black taxis off our roads so that's why I signed on thank you
