Who is creating this petition?
Signatories have a right to know who is processing their personal data. You or your organization will be shown publicly as the one responsible for processing the signatories' personal data.
Enter your full name. Signatories have a right to know who created this petition.
A person we can reach about this petition on behalf of the organization. Not shown publicly.
For example: Business ID, Company Registration Number, or Association Registration Number.
For example: www.example.org

Who can see and sign?
You can change this anytime.
The goal is shown on the petition page as a progress bar.
Places with fewer than 5 signatures are combined, so that individual signatories cannot be identified.
We send every signatory a confirmation link, so the email address is verified. A restriction makes the email address required on the signature form.
Type a domain, for example helsinki.fi, and press comma, space or Enter. Subdomains are included: helsinki.fi also accepts addresses ending in @student.helsinki.fi.
Blocks addresses that anyone can create for free, such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and iCloud, and services that hide the sender, such as Proton and duck.com. Most private individuals use a free address, so this leaves many of them out.
Catches typos, so the confirmation link reaches the signatory.
A copied address repeats its typo, so pasting it again catches nothing.
If too many confirmation emails bounce, we turn both on regardless of these settings: typos in email addresses are the usual cause.
Only people who know the password can view and sign the petition. The petition is not shown in the petition lists or search.
Give the password to the people you want to sign the petition.
Otherwise they are told that the password is wrong.
The web address of the petition is formed from its name. Anyone who sees the link can tell what the petition is about, even without the password. We ask search engines not to index password-protected petitions, but the address can still show up, for example on other websites or in search results, if someone shares it. You can change the address in the petition settings.
The site's moderators can still see the content of password-protected petitions, and the same rules apply as for all petitions.
