Help Bring Abbey 6month old pup Home.

Abbey was born at Hidden Gem, surrounded by love from her breeders, her mom, and her littermates. She had the warmth of a caring community, regular visits from her brother, and a wonderful start to life.

Her breeders microchipped her, but made one small mistake—they didn’t register themselves as the first owners. When Abbey was sold, they held hope she’d have a forever home. Sadly, that hope turned into heartbreak.

Abbey was placed in a home that became the worst situation imaginable. She was injured under uncertain circumstances, suffering a fractured jaw. She was then surrendered to the Minden Animal Hospital, who provided excellent care through her initial recovery. Because of her injury, animal welfare became involved, and Abbey was transferred to Dog Tales Rescue in King City for monitoring and adoption.

This has devastated Hidden Gem and the local community who know Abbey. Despite raising funds through a GoFundMe to cover her adoption fee and future veterinary care, the rescue will not allow her to return to her first true home—the people who loved her from the beginning, before the abuse.

Abbey doesn’t need “a home.” She already has one. She needs her family and community back, the ones who will give her the safety, care, and love she desperately deserves.
