Vote of no confidence in Luke Ellis as Chairman of ADHD Bridgend

I invite you to sign this petition in order to remove Councillor Luke Ellis as Chairman, trustee and member from the charity, ADHD Bridgend and it’s Support Group.

I do not believe that Mr Ellis is serving the best interests of the members of the ADHD Bridgend Support Group or the Service User’s of the charity, and therefore would like to put forward a vote of no confidence.

It is my opinion that Mr Ellis should not be working with vulnerable adults, children and their families, both close and extended. He has refused to have a DBS (was CRB) check.

He has proven himself to lack empathy and understanding with members and service users, disregarding our opinions and suggestions and continues to use his title as a badge rather than to serve the service user’s best interests.

He has tried, and failed to cast doubt in service user’s minds regarding the integrity of trustees Zoe and Craig Piper, who’s dedicated hard work and commitment to ADHD Bridgend and it’s service user’s has gone far beyond the requirement.

Further to a recent meeting with both adult and family service user’s, Mr Ellis agreed that mediation was the way forward in order to rectify any internal disputes. However, further to several written requests since this meeting,  Mr Ellis has not responded, proving that he has no interest or inclination to enter into the mediation process.

Given light to Mr Ellis’ criminal record and the recent allegations made against him, I feel that Mr Ellis’ chairmanship and indeed, any association with the charity and support group is to the detriment of ADHD Bridgend and it’s members and service user’s.
