URGENT NEED FOR CREMATORIUM, PORT SHEPSTONE
Due to the burning down of our local crematorium, we, as a community, are suffering injustices towards our faith. We are forced to perform the last rites of our loved ones, based on the availibility of the nearest crematoriums, which already cater to the greater Duran area. This means that the procedure of our last rites rituals have to be amended as such. This petition calls for the necessary bodies, to acknowledge our predicament and respect our sentiments, and make a change. We urge the Independent Crematoriums South Africa (ICSA), to speed up the process in the restoration and development of the new crematorium, as it has now become time-consuming as well as costly, to our community, to send off our loved ones, according to our scriptures, beliefs and faith.
