Tax relief for healthcare workers

During very trying times frontline healthcare workers are all under severe pressure! These are people who are going out on a daily basis leaving the safety of there own homes to deliver much needed healthcare to everybody in need of care and services relating to their well being during the covid19 pandemic. These are people that are putting others first while risking their own lifes and the lifes of their own families. All companies in South Africa have been affected negatively and this includes the medical field as well. Nurses are loosing overtime payments as their hours are being restricted even though the demand for nursing staff are very high at this point in time and will even get higher. They are working on skeleton staff to help companies saving on overtime payments. As we all know nursing has never been a highly paid proffesion and most nursing staff rely on their overtime money ti make ends meet. Whole government are reaching out to all people in need because of loss of income nurses are not seen as people in need as they are still working. We feel that government should help! Lets stand together and fight for them as they do for us on a daily basis! All nursing staff should be relieved of tax payment for the period of time it takes to get everything back to normal again! Stop all paye payments on their salaries!
