Instead of informing people about the genre, the podcast has diverted into chasing trends just to remain relevant, resorting to embarrassing artists, body shaming, and publicly pointing out people’s weaknesses for views. There is little to no meaningful conversation about Amapiano itself anymore; no discussion of the culture, the sound, or its evolution—only constant criticism of artists that tears the culture apart rather than builds it. Using a public platform to shame bodies, attack character, and use harmful language is not only unethical but also damaging to the artists mentioned, as it promotes defamation and normalizes toxicity within the community. What was meant to be an informative space has become a platform driven by clout, negativity, and childish, colonized thinking that seeks validation through controversy rather than knowledge. At this point, Piano Pulse prioritizes relevance over responsibility, making it hazardous to both artists and listeners, and deeply toxic to the Amapiano community it once claimed to represent.
