I also get irritated when no Metro police is on site at crucial crossings in Pretoria. Taxis just drive without taking safety in consideration.

Linda Jansen (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#405

The Metro in the city is non-existant. They only pull cars off to check licences. Taxi never stop at red lights anymore because we have become lawless. They should start doingnwhat they are paid to doand that includes directing traffic when there is no power and not only when a Minister is escorted.

Amanda Britz (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#407

I agree with this petition

Sarina Bosman (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#408

I'm signing because I feel this can prevent accidents, rebuild a reputation of tmpd and to be busy in a positive way that makes bribery more difficult when busy at an intersection

Monique Erasmus (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#413

They should get paid for doing a job!!! And that job should be so serve the community!!

Maryke Van Vuuren (Akasia, 2023-06-20)

#415

We are paying for a service we do not receive. Their excuses to my community is that they do not have vehicles. When driving around you see Officers on motorbikes at cafes and convenient stores chatting to security patrol people and SAPS members. In meetings held with senior TMPD representatives we have been told that there is no money.

Charles Kemp (Montana, Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#416

I support the petition to have TMPD regulate traffic at intersections during loadshedding

Allan Oelschig (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#417

This is a serious and dangerous matter and is leading to many accidents due to recklessness and unwillingness to abide to the traffic law.

Dietrich Remmert (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#419

Like all other state departments, the CoT is also just utterly useless in spending our tax money in a way that will benefit the whole community.

Gawie Van Der Lith (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#421

Let the Tswane community see that we can trust and see the good behaviour of the TMPD members.

Ingrid Terblanche (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#422

I’m Gatvol and want to see TMPD Do an honest job and deserve an honest salary and stop being corrupt & useless!

Nico Davel (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#423

Because TMPD are not doing their duties and being active as pointsman is one of those vital roles to play

Pieter Naude (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#424

The useless Metro Police stand next to the road and do nothing while motorists have to endure lawlessness at dangerous road crossings.

Mike Nieuwoudt (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#426

Loadshedding is affecting all citizens in a negative way. This will hugely assist to conyrol traffic a bit better and hopefully lessen the amount of accidents.

Karen Allen (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#427

They are useless
Hiding and giving R500 traffic fines for not stopping dead at signs wich should be caution signs
About 80% of stop signs should be caution signs

Marieta Geyer (Rayton, 2023-06-20)

#428

I feel the same you never see them during load shedding relieving the traffic burden. It is not the job of Outsurance. You are responsible to regulate traffic. Fuel is expensive and I don''t appreciate sitting in traffic when it can be regulated.

Hester Bokelmann (centurion, 2023-06-20)

#429

The TMPD must deploy officers at busy intersections during load shedding

Christa coetzee (Gauteng, 2023-06-20)

#430

I too agree that our traffic is a nightmare during loadshedding and there is already way too many lives lost due to this.

Bronwen Du Preez (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#431

TMPD needs to do what they are paid (by us)

Gerrie Moolman (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#433

Citizens need assistance and TMPD are able to provide it.

San-Mari Pretorius (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#435

High time TMPD members earn their salaries. Have never seen any of them in the past 2 years around my area!

Angelique Fourie (Pretoria, 2023-06-20)

#436

I agree with the proposal.

Derik Janse van Rensburg (Pretoria+, 2023-06-21)

#439

We NEED help

Daleen Van Zyl (Pretoria, 2023-06-21)

#440

There are no TMPD members visible when ther e is loadshedding. I salute the men living on the street doing a great job for no money, regulating traffic during those times. But they also put their own lives in danger and it would help if TMPD members can do the job they are trained to do.

Annaleen Britz (Tshwane, 2023-06-21)

#442

I am signing in because of the disaster at robots in peak time

Laurence Rudman (Pretoria, 2023-06-21)

#444

Keelvol vir omkopery, intimidasie en salarisse wat betaal word vir werk wat nie gedoen word nie

Genevieve Pols (Pretoria, 2023-06-21)

#446

Traffic is a night mare during loadshedding and the JMPD should assist by regulating traffic during load shedding .

Rose Naude (Pretoria, 2023-06-21)

#447

People which are jobless control traffic without any qualications to do so, putting vehicle owners at risk

Pietie Aucamp (Pretoria, 2023-06-21)

#449

Traffic Officers are important to help build unity in our community where we work together, move together, and get our Cities and roads safe for our Children ✝️

Denise Lourens (Alberton, 2023-06-21)

#450

Very dangerous driving conditions when power is out

Sarietha Petersen (Pretoria, 2023-06-22)

#452

I have NEVER seen a TMPD member regulate the traffic during load shedding. It is only OutSurance or squatters that regulate the traffic. Congestion during loadshedding is a nightmare and it will really help with the congestion and improve safety it more robots are covered with TMPD.

Jo De Kock (Pretoria, 2023-06-22)

#456

They suppose to render a service but only do so ax collection, sometimes even for the municipality.

Pierre Fourie (Centurion, 2023-06-22)

#458

Do point duty when it's loadsheading, sort the reackles driving out of taxi's at Solomon Mhlango during rush hour, stop harrising the public unnecessary.

Rosemarie Wiese (Pretoria, 2023-06-25)

#469

I agree with Francois Bekker

Mariana Brand (Pretoria, 2023-06-25)

#470

Dit is onaanvaarbaar by die besige kruisings in die middae met geen maar geen pinsmamme nie. Dit is so gevaarlik. As kan daar alke middag pinsmanne op besig verkeer in die middae wees. Veral in Waterkloof. Karre ry net.

Berlinda Hawman (Pretoria, 2023-06-25)

#471

I agree with the statement above

Mariette van Rensburg (Pretoria, 2023-06-26)

#472

I agree with the petition and think that the traffic department can do a lot more to prevent these taxi violence and recklessness drivers on our roads.

Deon Fabricius (Lutzville, 2023-06-26)

#473

Im fed uof with traffic thats not flowing at peak times, always loadshedding at peak times, I see no traffic cops visibility and when I see them at night Im afraid if them. They aleays look unfriendly and intimidating.

Charmaine Weavers (Pretoria, 2023-06-26)

#474

This should beinforced in every town in South Africa

Piet Lombaard (Klerksdorp, 2023-06-26)

#475

We need help at the intesections, especially for pedestrians that cannot cross the roads.

Simone Olivier (Bryanston, 2023-06-26)

#476

Because we need traffic police at intersections when the power is off, not not beggers controling the traffic.

Chris Norwie (Moreleta Park, 2023-06-26)

#477

As n robot nie werk nie MOET húlle die verkeer reguleer.

Jaco Viljoen (Vryburg, 2023-06-26)

#479

You are getting paid to regulate traffic.

Sanet Day (Pretoria, 2023-06-26)

#480

It is not fair to us to wait for hours just to get past a robot

Christia Mans (Gauteng, 2023-06-27)

#481

I want the TMPD to do their job at intersections during loadshedding

Philip Van der westhuizen (Pretoria, 2023-06-27)

#483

fed-up with traffic officers not doing the most important task ..... regulating traffic.

Chris du Plessis (Pretoria, 2023-06-28)

#484

It is my right as tax payer to claim assistance from officers to serve the community during load shedding to regulate traffic in an orderly manner.

Johan Stapelberg (Tshwane/Pretoria, 2023-06-29)

#486

Everymorning I struggle through traffic at Moloto crossing and it takes hours and Metro Police hardly ever do anything. We love Outsurance pointsmen doing the job because they are actually brilliant with regulating traffic and do a much better job than Metro

Linda Vorster (Pta, 2023-07-01)

#487

It is a potential danger sone at every busy crossing during loadshedding.
What are the MTPD doing during these times?

Johanna Alethaa Cloete (Pretoria, 2023-07-01)

#489

Because it is your job ....DO IT

Etienne Schoeman (Pretoria, 2023-07-03)

#490

I am signing this as part of the appeal to the Tshwane Metro government, to seriously and urgently take a decision to deploy TMPD officers, to assist as point-men at busy intersections during load shedding. This is their responsibility as officers to assist the public and not to hide and rest when it is load shedding - exactly the opposite! They should do their jobs!

Miranda Christen (Pretoria, 2023-07-04)

#491

The public want to see that the officials do their duty by assisting the road users and not to hide behind their cameras to harass us. We want to see officers and not speed cops.

Johann Snyman (Pretoria, 2023-07-04)

#492

I am paying taxes toreceiveproper service from the metro council

Andre van der linde (Pretoria, 2023-07-04)

We need to build up and improve our beautiful city. To be a safe and prosperous city for all. Especially in this case, traffic and roads

Willem Kelber (Pretoria, 2023-07-05)

#496

Mense oortree daagliks padreëls in die verkeer, dikwels waar die TMPD dit kan sien, wat bloot ignoreer word.
