Save Maidstone's Music Festivals

This petition has been set up to make an impact on the current situation regarding the festivals that are put on in Moat Park , Whatman Park Maidstone and the fact that due to small numbers of complaints made against these events they are either being moved from the centre of the town to the outskirts making travel to them difficult OR having such ridiculously low sound levels leaving paying customers feeling let down on value for money. The problem we find is that the only feed back to the council tend to be complaints from a few disgruntled residents as for the 1000's of people inside the events and also residents that dont have a problem with it dont even think about needing to inform the councils that they've had an amazing time and therefore their opinions don't count for anything! Lets remember the 3 main music events that happen in moat park over the course of a year only account for 4days out of the 365 days a year thus leaving the upset residents with only 361 days/night of peace and quiet !! Surely 4 days is not a big ask for hard working people to enjoy spending their hard earned money on tickets to listen to the best DJ's , BANDS on the Planet at a decent volume !!!
