Protect the Senne Valley with a Green Noise Barrier

We, the undersigned, residents and supporters of the municipality of Beersel and the Senne Valley, call upon the Flemish Region, through the Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer, to take urgent measures to address the noise pollution from the Brussels Ring (R0/E19) on the section between Huizingen and Drogenbos.

Recent measurements taken in our area show average noise levels between 55 dB and 65 dB, with peaks reaching 72 dB. These levels greatly exceed what is considered acceptable for public health.

We request the construction of a green noise barrier, integrated into the landscape, to protect our health, our quality of life, and the unique ecological value of the Senne Valley.
