Protect Our Private Security – Keep Them Armed, Keep Us Safe

We, the undersigned, strongly oppose any move by the government or PSIRA to disarm private security companies in South Africa.

Private security officers are often the first line of defense in emergencies. Whether it’s protecting homes, businesses, schools, or individuals – they risk their lives every day to keep us safe. Taking away their firearms means taking away their ability to respond effectively to real threats.

We believe:

- Disarming private security puts everyone at greater risk  

- Our security officers deserve the tools they need to protect themselves and others  

- Public safety should always come first
